Our story began in the late 1960s, when founder Kenneth R. McKinnon started working alongside his father, Gordon McKinnon, in the decorative concrete industry. By the early 1980s, Ken had launched a satellite company that played an important role in supporting and expanding his father’s corporation. Since then, he has dedicated his career to developing advanced epoxy coating formulas recognized for their quality, durability, and performance.

That experience is the foundation of McKinnon Materials.
